The HOME Program is the
CDC Affordable Housing Program. The program services are open
to the entire community, however we concentrate on families
that gross 80% of the median income or less for the area adjusted
for family size. The CDC currently builds and sells homes in
the $85,000 – $110,000
range.

The Cape Fear Regional CDC Business Center was
created to support entrepremeurs in starting, managing and
operating new business enterprises and to stimulate job creation
in distressed and disadvantaged communities.

The CDC Housing Counseling Program helps families
and individuals make
difficult choices in deciding whether to continue to rent or buy their
first home. Counselors are educators, advocates, and facilitators.
