Introduction
The Cape Fear Regional CDC Incubator Program
was created to support entrepreneurs in starting, managing,
and operating new business enterprises and stimulate job
creation in distressed and disadvantaged communities. A three-year
to seven-year program has been implemented in the Business
Center to incubate or assist small business owners in developing
strong business practices. An entrepreneur may apply to the
Business Center and be evaluated for eligibility in the program.
The Business Center assists entrepreneurs and business owners
by working with them on business plans, management controls,
financing, budgeting, break-even analysis, payroll, financial
statements, labor, petty cash, and inventory. CDC is
sensitive to the needs of start-up and existing business but
firm on the processes that must be implemented to be successful.
All business owners, and their staff, have access to Administrative
Support Services. |
